I started picking up my dad's Gibson Victory bass and tried to play it at eleven, about a couple months later, He and my Mom got me my first bass, which was a black Ibanez soundgear, I still have it today, and play it.

About a year later I wanted a guitar, went to a pawn shop, and bought a new Strat copy by Galveston for $200, amp and everything. I kept those two for about 2 years, then I bought a '61 Epiphone SG reissue, which I payed about $500, then this year back in march on Saint patricks day I got a Fender Jazz for $360, used, in amazing condition, dark blue, and I love it! I have four amps, a Fender 100, Fender 300, Crate 15, and Eleca 10.

I play bass and guitar about every day, and I play for My Church band "Dear God", but we only play at the church, and I have doubts of us going anywhere.
I'm almost 16 now, and I need to save my cash on my car repairs, so I'm sticking with the four right now, and I'm trying to sell the Galveston.

Overall my decision is almost all basses are overpriced, but Rickenbackers are Unaffordable to me, $2500 new with 2 year shipping, rare and overpriced if used. The average cost on Ebay is like the average of an Alembic, to me, that's sad. Sorry for the rambling on, you may add me to your list, I really like your site! Thanks!
