Hi Arni,

Thanks for putting a great site for left-handed bass players in such class!

I'm 48 years old and I've been playing professionally for 30 years.

I am a studio player and recorded over 150 albums here in Quebec ( I
did stop counting a long time ago).

I've done thousands of TV shows ranging from Talk-shows to Music
shows,Comedy shows and special Events like Awards shows. I've done a lot of touring and did some great ones with Céline Dion also. I did 5performances at the very highly rated "Tonight show" with Johnny Carson and Jay Leno with her.

I'm still gigging regularly on TV and I'm still teaching in College
and several Universities for 25 years full-time as well.

I've been playing mainly for the past 20 years a Custom 5 strings bass
made by Pierre Laporte, a local luthier who did a great job at that bass. It has a 35" scale,24 frets, Ken Smith PU and bridge, graphite stripes in the neck, ebony fingerboard. That bass was built in 1990. It is a great sounding bass.

Live I'm using an old Demeter VTDB 201 I bought directly from James in
his garage in 1990. I use also his TUBE DI as well for studio work along with an Avalon U5. I recently switch from 2 Eden 4x10 xlt to a one 4x10 bergantino.

I also use a Rob Allen MB-2, and recently a P5 from Mike Lull that I
modified as a PJ and also a Fodera NYC Empire 5 strings.

I own about 20 left-handed basses and I'm selling some right now, so
you might be seeing more adds from me in a near future.
