Brian K. Speck

Band: TJ Coeand the Coe Conspirators

Cleveland / Ohio / USA

Brian is our Bassist, and holds down the rhythm on most of our songs.

Brian owes his playing style to some old friends from High School, who got him 4th row floor seats for Iron Maiden's first headlining show at the old Richfield Coliseum back in the summer of 1983. Steve Harris of Iron Maiden was in his face all night, and Brian had his first bass within a week of that show! If you get close enough, you will see a small picture of Maiden's mascot "Eddie" on Brian's Bass Rig!

With Steve Harris being Brian's main influence, Brian developed a very hard, very intense "finger-style" of playing the bass. In fact, Brian's playing style typically leads to a broken bass string! Have you ever seen a bassist break a string?

Come to a few shows... and you will! :o)
